Welcome to the official Otis Davis website
A
double gold medal winner in the Rome Olympics of 1960, Otis
Davis was the first man to break the coveted 45 second barrier
in the 400 meters and anchored the 4 x 400 meter relay
team to victory with both events in world record time. His
winning time of 44.9 seconds in the 400 meters remains a
University of Oregon record to this day.
